Should I use drones to photograph real estate?
As a Realtor I strive to take advantage of all the tools available to me to serve my clients. Marketing my listings has been enhanced by the ability to use drones to take photos and video of my listings, HOWEVER this practice is not recommended by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Drone operators need to have a pilots license and they need to adhere to their guidelines. It sounds like I will be drafting a contract with my next drone operator and checking their license as well as their insurance to protect myself and my clients.
I still think that drone photography can help me give home buyers a better perspective of my listing.
Take a look at this property on Old Janal, Chula Vista. Doesn’t it look like amazing???
